Neat building and rooms with free coffee and tea. A great interior. Great location just a short stroll away from Els Quatre Gats.

The rooms offered are well air-conditioned and cheap with teapot, a balcony plus a coffee maker. The venue is in the heart of the town.

Hotel was absolutely great, I enjoyed the stay.

Conveniently located near Gaudi sites & Placa Catalunya. Rooms have sunrooms for drying clothes. Helpful staff arranged early morning taxi. The neighborhood is quiet with plenty of public transport options. Comfortable beds & private bathrooms. Free coffee & tea, plus a common room with amenities.

The room was very spacious, the location was a 15-20 minutes walk to Sagrada Familia. The location was also close to a metro station, however, it was not as close to the shopping areas as I would like it to be. (10-15 minutes walk)

It is too noisy, it does not have basics such as kettle, even towels you will have to ask, and you have shared bathrooms as well.

The location in a communal lounge area was good and magnificent and there were the main shopping centre and supermarkets nearby. Provenca-Diagonal tube station was 15 min away. I had a tidy and cheap room with comfy bed and a kettle and climate control...

Conveniently located in city center, close to Passeig de Gràcia. Good transport links and easy access to airport and attractions. Some period features in beautiful old building. Room could have been cleaner but still acceptable. Free wifi had occasional issues due to server load. Worth another visit.

The location was very good,close to metro and La Rambla street,alsoa lot of restaurant around,snack bars,etc. 24 hours reception,even if the night staff don't speek english at all.

Our double room was very dark,just interior window,what was not in the description of the room.i hate that kind of windows,so after my complainig,they change our room,but for charge, of course.the new room was with french big window with balcony,but on the very,very,very noisy street,so we didn't open it too much.the badrooms were two,one ok,but second not very clean and very dark also.reception was very poor,no info,no buletins,not very good english.they have any shareroom or living room,or kitchen or something like that over there.

A kettle, a great balcony, and climate control in the room and the comfy bed. A great interior. Easy enough to find, in the heart of Barcelona. Early check-in, amiable employees.

At Hostal Balmes Centro, I got great value for my money. The room, although small, was clean and neat. The location was perfect, being central but not too crowded, with amazing restaurants and metro stations within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast menu could have been improved with more options.
